Please note the live website is the same structure of the initial design, yet the foundation underwent extensive re-branding since the site’s launch.
UHN Foundation, a growing community organization delivering essential services across multiple locations needed a digital presence that better reflected the scale and impact of its work. I led a full redesign of their WordPress website along with a set of integrated conversion forms, bringing a more modern and cohesive experience across the entire platform.
For the main site, the goal was to create something that felt clear, trustworthy and easy to use. It needed to balance professionalism with warmth, while helping people quickly understand the organization’s impact. The design focuses on strong hierarchy, readability and simple navigation so users can find what they need without effort, no matter what device they are on. Because there is a high volume of content, the structure had to support ongoing updates. Sections like articles, news, press updates and events were built to be easy for internal teams to manage, so content can stay current without added complexity. Each section was designed with clarity in mind, making it easy to scan and absorb.
On the conversion side, I redesigned the form experience within Luminate Online so it felt like a natural extension of the website. The focus was on reducing friction while still supporting a more detailed, multi-step flow. I refined the visual design and layout by improving contrast, simplifying fields, and making calls to action more clear at each step. Breaking the form into steps helped make the process feel more manageable, especially on mobile, while still guiding users smoothly from start to finish.
The form system was also designed to be flexible. The team can easily duplicate forms or just update messaging and visuals to support different campaigns without needing to rebuild from scratch. The end result is a consistent experience that builds trust, removes unnecessary barriers, and makes it easier for users to take action when it matters most.
